Our Mission
We are a Charity located within the Barrowfield Community to serve Glasgow and to Reach out to people within the EastEnd community for a better and improve life in the form of Community Development (Community Food bank and Homeless Street Outreach). We also support immigrate from Non-English speaking countries in the form of Teaching ESOL to help them integrate in and work in Scotland.
Community Outreach
The Marvellous Light Community church (MLCC) Foodbank was founded in Glasgow in 2019 by Mr George Kpodo after attending a course in Community Development organised by Glasgow Kelvin College and took Food Bank as a Project work. .
The MLCC Foodbank is a Christian Organisation that aims to serve the community of Barrowfield community in the East end of Glasgow and beyond by providing food to those in need.
